Job Description Production Technician – 2nd Shift Location: Georgetown, TX Schedule: 6pm–6am | $22/hour Sun–Tuesday and every other Wednesday OR Thurs–Saturday and every other Wednesday Employment Type: Full-Time Job Overview: Join TSS as a Production Technician on our 2nd shift team, where you will play a vital role in installing and configuring server racks and network hardware. This position focuses on hands-on hardware installation, cable management, and troubleshooting IT infrastructure within a dynamic data center production environment. You’ll collaborate closely with team members and leadership to achieve production goals while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Key responsibilities include performing system integrations, operating production equipment, conducting routine maintenance, and providing insightful feedback to ensure smooth operations. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and integrate servers and network switches into racks Follow precise instructions for systems integration and hardware setup Operate production equipment (such as pallet jacks) per SOPs Conduct regular cleaning, lubricating, and part replacement for machinery Diagnose and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime Maintain accurate production and maintenance records Monitor production for adherence to strict quality benchmarks Promote and follow all safety protocols, reporting hazards promptly Collaborate with supervisors and team members to optimize workflows Recommend process and efficiency improvements when applicable Skills & Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred Experience in manufacturing, production, or a similar role Strong mechanical aptitude with proven problem-solving abilities Familiarity with safety standards and production procedures Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively Attention to detail and commitment to quality work Flexibility for overtime and various schedules Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Willingness to work in fast-paced, noisy environments and wear PPE as required If interested, please send a resume to us along with your shift preference!
