In Your Home, a unique company with accessibility expertise serving residential homeowners, has an opening for an experienced sales professional to help drive growth for our remodeling and home maintenance business. Production: • Via telephone and email primarily and occasionally in person, interface with client to determine scope and then formulate offer. • Prepare written offer (most often in an email format) utilizing existing templates and overtime evolve and improve templates. • Utilize estimating software and base platform and add to / refine estimate standards • Log interactions with clients in promo database in order to track service • Ensures that quality, service, budgets and schedules are met at each project. • As available or directed, provide back-office support to remodeling sales by preparing draft proposals and budgets for previously specified projects. Administration: • Represent all Handyman engagements in weekly production meeting to ensure clients are receiving excellent service. • Develops job descriptions and standard operating procedures to further evolve position. • Schedules and briefs staff for new engagements to ensure they will be successful. • Develops and implements systems to accurately review project performance and develop trends data to better understand strategic opportunities. • Develops maintenance service agreements and pricing. Marketing: • Produces and manages to sales goals. • Participates in sales and marketing efforts. • Develops relationships with clients to identify “client for life” candidates with specific goal of formalizing LT relationship and service model. • Interfaces with all divisions of the company to create more service opportunities. Qualified applicants will possess at minimum - • Exceptional sales, presentation & closing skills • Clear, concise oral & written communication style • Accurate budgeting/efficient proposal writing ability & experience • Strong PC skills including construction/remodeling-based estimating software (HomeTech a plus) & MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) • Well-versed in industry specific building codes, concepts, techniques, conventions & standards (HBA and NARI Certifications a plus) • Highly organized, proactive-thinking & team-oriented attitude Compensation commensurate with experience. Base plus commission ($60 - $80K+), major medical, dental, PTO, Technology & Support, profit sharing. Criminal background check required upon acceptance of employment offer.
