We are currently hiring for Quality Assurance Technicians for a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing company in Lynwood, CA. Second and Third Shift available. Workers needed ASAP! Shift: 2nd shift: 5pm-1:30 pm ($21/hr) 3rd shift: 9pm-3:30am ($22.00/hr) Function: Assure that all company products or materials shipped out of the company’s warehouses or transferred to and from filling and compounding are properly identified and accounted for. Job Description: • Perform components and raw materials transactions in Oracle inventory system and batch record • Record and input Resource hours in documents and Oracle inventory system • Assign LPN’s to finished goods and returns • Perform Discards reporting in Oracle inventory system • Cleaning agent issuance documents to compounding and filling departments • Good documentation practices. • Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of the batch record or related to filled units and finished labeled products. • Inspect and report production line. • Verify and report components and finished goods products in the batch record and Oracle inventory system. • Identify quality issues and assist with resolutions. • Perform reconciliation of raw materials, components, and finished goods products in the Oracle inventory system. • Support other QA functions as needed. • Support all general safety, food safety and all pharmaceutical compliance requirements • Perform documentation control process; • Perform any other functions requested by the supervisor. • Must be able to make sound judgments regarding production line inspection requirements. • Must be able to make reasonable decisions on the acceptance of the finished products and component quality inspection independently. • Must be able to verify the accuracy of batch record calculation and information using the Oracle Inventory system. • Being able to troubleshoot discrepancies in inventory relating to components, raw material, and filled units Qualifications: • High School graduate or GED required. • Good Math skills. • Detail-oriented. • Knowledge of GMP is preferred. • Experience in working with SOPs is preferred. • Knowledge of MS Word and database software preferred. • Some experience in a manufacturing environment. • Able to speak, read, and write English. • Training available for those who meet the minimum requirements. • Basic statistical skills (mean, mode, median, standard deviation calculation) Physical Requirements: • Walking up to 6 hours per day • Sitting up to 2 hours per day • Occasionally lift up to 30 lbs. We provide trucks, equipment, and staff to manage the collection of the waste, characterize it, pack it in proper UN rate containers, and load it to ship into permitted trucks. LOCATIONS VARY EVERY WEEKEND. Events take place on Saturdays and some Sundays. Hours vary but are generally 6:30am to 3:30pm. Pay begins at $275 for the day for qualified candidates and can grow up to $350 per day with additional training and responsibilities. All staff also helps setup and clean up after the event. After three events you will begin to learn additional skills and assigned additional responsibilities in line with your educational background and performance. With good attendance, attitude, and performance, you will begin field training with a qualified Field Chemist at the events and begin training for the next step. After the first 3 jobs, the candidates will be given a schedule of work for the immediate future and remainder of the season. Staff is expected to be available on Saturdays. Particularly in the Spring and Fall. Throughout the year we understand if there are a few weekends you need off for important events, such as weddings, family vacation, ect. With proper notice that’s no problem. But we want to make clear this is a weekend job and want people who want to work consistently on the weekends. New staff would be required to complete an online company training seminar before working the event. The company provides an extra $25 in the first paycheck as compensation for the training.
