Senior Closeout Specialist (Cost-Reimbursable Agreements) (0005) OCT Consulting is a business management and technology consulting firm that provides support to Federal Government clients. We provide consulting services in the areas of Strategy, Process Improvement, Change Management, Program and Project Management, Acquisition/Procurement, and Information Technology. Responsibilities and Duties OCT is currently looking for a Senior Closeout Specialist to support one of our federal clients. Expertise in closing out cost-reimbursable lab agreements, IAAs, and grants is required. Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of 8 years of directly relevant experience as a federal government employee (Series 1102 or equivalent), member of the Armed Forces, or contractor. Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and exceptional attention to detail are essential for success. Individual will focus on closing out complex grants, DOE lab agreements, and IAAs by facilitating negotiations with stakeholders, resolving complex contract terms, reconciling indirect costs, and streamlining the closeout process. Additional responsibility includes quick closeout of other cost-reimbursement contracts. This position is currently 100% telework in the DC Metropolitan area. Requirements Qualifications and Skills ●        A minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in closeout of cost-reimbursable contracts, lab agreements, IAAs, and grants ●        Bachelor's Degree or an additional four (4) years of experience            ●        Experience negotiating complex closeout terms and in using quick closeout procedures ●        Familiarity with DOE contract structures is preferred ●        Knowledgeable in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and FAR Part 42 Federal contract closeout processes and procedures ●        Proficiency in software tools for document creation, collaboration, and formatting, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and SharePoint ●        Experience using PRISM and other grants administration tools (ie. NEAT) is a plus ●        Attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to project timelines ●        Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with subject matter experts, acquisition professionals, and stakeholders ●        Must be a US Citizen ●        Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance (the investigation will involve a credit, fingerprint, and law enforcement agency check) Benefits Benefits The position includes competitive compensation and a full suite of benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance Retirement savings 401K plan provided by an industry-leading provider with 3% employer matching contributions.
