Serve as the primary point of contact with our customers by overseeing, coordinating, communicating, scheduling, and expediting the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between departments to expedite production and maintains contact with assigned customers on all aspects of the order. These activities are done to contribute to exceeding on-time delivery and customer satisfaction goals. Duties: Reviews all correspondences and responds to all requests in a timely manner. Reviews master production schedule and work orders. Reviews customer acknowledgements for delivery dates (stock or production). Expedites job orders by reviewing customers MRP runs. Issues RMA numbers when necessary and provides appropriate information when completing the RMA form. Performs contract review of orders to ensure correct pricing, revision, etc. Receives orders via phone or electronic means and initiates entry of order. Reviews changes in customer delivery schedule to ensure that approved changes have been made and notifies appropriate personnel if any adjustments are required to be made in the production schedule. Closes out of the open order system any completed jobs when they are shipped. Acts as primary contact for all communications between the customer and the company concerning an order. Reviews scheduled start dates for jobs and analyzes work orders or reports to ensure on-time delivery. Performs all phases of customer service on a daily basis to accurately respond to customers' needs or problems in a timely manner.
