The Store Manager will oversee retail store operations in Chicago, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and optimal store performance. This includes leading and developing the retail team, managing daily store operations, upholding brand standards, and achieving sales targets. This role will collaborate with Operations, Marketing, and Product teams to align store activities, events, and pop-ups with company initiatives. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Store Team Management:  Manage schedules to ensure optimal staffing at retail stores for daily operations and special events Oversee payroll processing Hire and onboard retail employees Team Training & Education: Develop & implement training programs for operations team members, covering product knowledge, operational procedures, & customer service skills  Conduct on-the-ground training at retail & pop-up stores to ensure alignment with company protocols Enforce adherence to company policies and procedures to ensure consistent operations Retail Operations:  Oversee daily store operations, including floor management at Chicago retail locations  Manage product receiving and maintain organized back-of-house storage Coordinate monthly inventory counts and support broader operations projects Manage store supplies to ensure a consistent stock of necessary materials Own and report on key store performance metrics and customer feedback Lead preparation and execution of product drops and launches Drive floor presentation and merchandising to Bandit brand standards Support setup, execution, and breakdown of pop-up stores, activations & community events YOU HAVE 2-4 years of retail store manager experience High attention to detail with an unwavering customer-first attitude Ownership mentality & operate as a strategic thinker while rolling up your sleeves A hunger for continuous process improvement that drives business impact Fortitude to make quick decisions through ambiguity & constant evolution BONUS Experience in specialty run or apparel stores.  Start-up experience Experience using Shopify POS and admin  A connection to the sport of running ABOUT THE ROLE This is a full-time role based primarily in Bandit retail locations in Chicago. Weekend availability is a must. This position reports to the Head of Operations Pay range $70,000-$75,000.
