Must be dependable, mechanical, able to read dimensions and use a tape measure. The candidate must possess a positive and helpful attitude, be self-motivated, with knowledge in metal fabrication, manufacturing process understanding, experience with SolidWorks, Draft sight or similar computer programs preferred. Job Description: Entry level position. We offer training. *Report to the office every day *Perform plan take-offs, use software to measure and count mechanical system components to ensure accurate project price estimation. *Review project plans and specifications to include all necessary job scope details in project pricing. *Work with the Lead Estimator to prepare and submit project bids *Ability to interpret field drawings and keep project schedules in regard to drawing submittals *Potential site visits to obtain field information for use in shop and coordinate drawings, as-builts, etc.. *Build and create a CAD image library consisting of frequently used symbols and designs *Use and knowledge of drafting to execute BIM modeling and 3D modeling initiatives *Working knowledge of HVAC - AutoCAD software.
