JOB SUMMARY The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting materials and products for conformance to blueprint specifications. Additionally, the Quality Inspector develops, applies, and maintains the company and customer quality standards for industrial processes, materials, and products.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Primary responsibility will be to measure parts with various instruments and gauges for receiving inspection, first article inspection, and final inspection. Identifies defects or discrepancies and reports them to the Quality Manager as needed. Understands and observes all necessary safety procedures: safety glasses, shoes, ear protection, machine interlocks, lifting guidelines, etc. as designated in specific work area assigned. Works with precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement and analytical equipment and facilities. Follows procedures for disposition of discrepant material (i.e., DMR/RMA process). Computes unspecified dimensions and other data like variances as needed. May be required to direct workers engaged in measuring and testing product. Tabulating data concerning materials, product, or process quality and part reliability. Required to verify accuracy of all gauges and measuring instruments and reports discrepancies to Quality Manager. Checks accuracy of parts according to blueprint specifications. Checks parts for measurement of dimensions and tolerances (i.e., GD&T). Compares product with parts list of sample model to ensure completion of assembly. May be required to use statistical process control techniques. Daily use of an ERP system (i.e. Epicor) to perform data entry or inquiry as needed in accordance to established company guidelines. Rejects defective parts and marks type of defect on proper documentation of paperwork or tag. Relies on specific instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Reads blueprint and Job Traveler for such information as dimensions, tolerances, work center outside services and finished operations and number of workpieces to be machined. Understands and follows Prince quality certifications (i.e., ISO) as relates to position. Completes all necessary job-related paperwork in a concise and timely manner (such as tags inspection reports). Transport the finished materials, manually or using pallet jack, to area indicated in Job Traveler. Maintains good housekeeping in work area. Works under direct supervision. Works effectively with all department personnel and co-workers in a harmonious and cooperative manner to meet the needs and goals established by the company. May be required to work in the shop on production or work directly with shop personnel as instructed by Quality Manager. Additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor may include department transfers to meet production needs.   REQUIRED SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES Ability to recognize and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, inspection materials and procedure manuals.  Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form with supervisor and all levels within the company as it relates to the job duties. Ability to comprehend and follow simple oral or written instructions. Ability to perform advanced math skills related to manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints (i.e., assembly blueprints, production blueprint, etc.). Knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures within inspection and quality control field. Excellent knowledge of company's quality and production standards. Familiar with relevant ISO procedures. Proficient in the use of basic inspection measurement equipment (i.e., calipers, micrometers, height gauge, comparator, thread gauges, plug gauges, indicator, handheld CMM, etc.). Ability to pay attention to detail to visually inspect and recognize discrepancies in part's defects, blueprints, etc. Basic computer skills in Microsoft Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).   EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma or GED equivalent. Previous experience, apprenticeship, or formal training desired. More than 3 years’ experience in inspection field or related machine operation experience. Degree or certification in related field preferred. Demonstrated experience in using GD&T principles to measure and assign appropriate gauges for work pieces. Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently. PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS Regularly required to sit, stand or walk the duration of shift, 8-10 hours. Frequently required to talk or hear. Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach or bend. Regularly lift, push or pull up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision in which 20/20 vision or corrected vision to 20/20 vision is required. Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles resulting from metalworking coolants and oils. The noise level in the work environment is sometimes loud when working in the plant, in which hearing protection is required. COMPENSATION Pay Range: $22 - $25 Hourly (Based on Qualifications)

Description of Duties: The Program Management Services Division at LaBella provides comprehensive management services for complex projects and multi-year capital programs. Project teams are established to provide a customized mix of business consulting, project management, financial control and monitoring, administrative, and technical support services. The Engineering Technician is responsible for designing the Company’s Fiber Optic’s overhead and underground facilities using the latest fiber management systems. This includes installing, removing, modifying, and/or updating fiber facilities as needed to maintain the most accurate records. The Engineering Tech II will work directly with Company’s customers, internal departments, and external partners to provide and maintain fiber optic services.  In this role, the successful candidate is required to build productive relationships with all team members, client representatives and end customers, while ensuring high quality deliverables are provided in accordance with commitments made to the client throughout the project lifecycle. Requirements Description of Requirements: Responsibilities ·        Perform detailed engineering tasks, including analyzing, evaluating, designing, planning, and estimating labor and material for Company’s fiber optic network and systems. ·        Provide a thorough understanding of outside plant fiber optics communications systems. ·        Develop familiarity by reading, understanding, and applying departmental design guides, standards, systems, applicable engineering codes, company policies, and procedures. ·        Utilize various systems to process and report work activities, inventory outside plant facilities, document projects, and perform cost estimates and analysis. ·        Help direct emergency restoration activities required for our outside plant infrastructure. This includes fiber optic damages, natural disasters, power failures, and other events. ·        Create and maintain fiber splice, network, and fiber mapping system records. ·        Provide proficiency in large subdivisions, MDU, and commercial facilities fiber design ·        Successfully manage time and schedule to maximize customer service and individual productivity. ·        As requested, participate during system emergencies such as storm restoration by scouting incidents, providing field information to Company’s dispatch personnel, and assisting with providing oversight of contractor field crews repairing the damaged electrical infrastructure (bird dogging). ·        Other responsibilities as assigned Qualifications ·        Associate’s degree in CAD, Electrical Engineering with CAD training, or equivalent experience. ·        3-5 years of fiber optics work experience with demonstrated competence. ·        Knowledgeable of FTTx design and Outside Plant engineering practices. ·        Excellent oral and written communication, decision-making, mechanical aptitude, and customer service skills. ·        Knowledge of the basic office tools provided on each PC (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint). An immediate position is open for a Project Administrator at an established HVAC company in Brooklyn NY. Duties and preferred requirements: Oversee HVAC projects from initiation to completion. Coordinate and schedule work with general contractors and/or customers. Attend meetings on site. Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, general contractors, vendors, suppliers, employees and other sub-contractors on job sites. Oversee work progression by piping and sheet metal mechanics to ensure scheduled completion of job is on track. Ascertain and coordinate job site requirements with regards to equipment, tools, material and labor with the Engineer. Communicate and resolve with management any issues occurring at job sites. Prepare, release and track purchase orders for equipment and material for job sites. Ensure equipment and material deliveries are accurate and complete. Schedule delivery of equipment to job sites and oversee installation. Take field measurements, report on variances and make any adjustments needed. Submit and track submittals and change orders. Create and track RFIs. Prepare and submit close out documents as requested by customers. Must have excellent communication skills. Must be able to read CAD drawings. CAD drafting experience a PLUS. Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and in a timely manner. Able to work in a fast paced, challenging environment supervised or independently. Must be dependable and detail oriented.
