Mid to Senior Level Geotechnical Engineer

Company Description CE Group is a multi-faceted company providing services in Civil Engineering, Surveying, and Landscape Architecture. We have 2 locations in North Carolina, one located in downtown Raleigh, and the other one located in Pittsboro. Our design services can take a project from being a concept in the eye of the owner all the way through construction. Multiple teams provide support to projects while staying in close communication with all interested parties, facilitating conversations that result in successfully permitted and constructed projects. Role Description This opportunity is a full-time on-site role for a Civil Project Engineer at CE Group Inc. located in Pittsboro, NC. The Civil Project Engineer will be responsible for design and permitting of projects that have successfully completed their Due Diligence and Entitlement stages. This person will interact with the Team Manager and the Team Technical Staff to facilitate timely completion of projects, taking them from the start of design through the successful permitting of construction documents. Party Chief needs 2+ years experience as a Party Chief and Instrument Man needs 1-3 years experience running a total station and data collector. Topcon instrument experience and Carlson data collection software preferred. We use Leica and Sokkia ix robotic instruments and Carlson data collection software. We primarily work on Boundary surveys, Topographic surveys, As-built Surveys, and Construction Staking.
