Experienced Designer/Architect An architectural office located in Bellevue with a large variety of projects. We are seeking a skilled architect/designer (full-time/part-time) with experience in multi-family (townhomes) and single-family residential subdivisions, as well as mid- and high-rise residential mixed-use projects. From schematic design packages to construction permitting documents. You will perform design work and collaborate with clients, trade contractors, and interact with city permitting reviewers. Qualifications: • A professional degree in architecture plus 6-8 years of architectural office working experience. • Proficiency in Revit (BIM) / AutoCAD, Sketch-Up / Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite / Publisher software, and strong 3D graphic skills, especially in residential and mixed-use type of projects. • Passion for design, an ability to quickly communicate effectively with contractors, clients, and teammates, with the ability to work independently, collaboratively, and to hold yourself accountable for results and performance. Responsibilities: • Experience in all phases of residential design, including design drawings, working drawings, familiar with building code, energy code, and construction details. • Residential Permitting: Experience in producing and coordinating architectural permitting sets with different jurisdictions in Washington State • Construction Administration: Responsible for the administration and coordination of the construction process.
