Job Title: Dell Infrastructure Deployment Engineer Location: New York City Metro Area (Travel Required) Salary: 110-140K (based on experience) Job Summary: We are seeking a Dell Infrastructure Deployment Engineer to implement and configure Dell enterprise hardware at customer sites across the NYC metro region. This person will also travel the entire East Coast from time to time to support customer deployments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on deployment experience with one or more of the following Dell technologies: PowerEdge Servers PowerStore PowerVault Top-of-rack network switches (Dell and/or Cisco) VX Rail Data Domain This role requires a professional who is comfortable working on-site most days of the week, with occasional remote work. Some evening and weekend work may be necessary based on customer needs. Key Responsibilities: Travel to customer sites within the NYC metro area to deploy and configure Dell infrastructure. Unbox, rack, and cable hardware according to provided specifications and schematics. Power on, upgrade firmware, and perform initial system setup. Implement and configure servers, storage, and networking to meet customer requirements. Work collaboratively with customer IT teams to ensure successful deployments. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues during installation. Requirements Must reside in the NYC metro area and be willing to travel to customer sites. Must be comfortable jumping on a plane to support customer sites along the east coast - from Maine to Florida. US Citizen (required). Hands-on deployment experience with at least one of the Dell technologies listed. Ability to lift and rack equipment (up to 40 lbs). Willingness to occasionally work nights or weekends as required. Must be open to training and certification programs as needed. Reliable transportation for travel to customer locations (some air travel may be required). Dell certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain). Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills & Certifications: Dell server, storage, or networking certifications. Experience with enterprise IT deployments in data center environments. Strong understanding of networking principles (switching, VLANs, basic routing). We're a point of sale company looking for a Field Service Tech. We service the Phoenix Metro and surrounding areas throughout Arizona. You will travel from store to store (Grocery Stores) fixing their equipment. Including scanner scales, touchscreens, payment devices, self-checkouts, deli scales and similar. We prefer someone with technical experience who knows troubleshooting and basic networking, but if you are hobbyist or have applicable experience, we will consider you too. We're mainly looking for someone who works well on their own, is coachable and can maintain their focus despite distractions. There is a lot of driving with this job, so please have a good driving record, be able to pass a background check, and drug screening. Sounds great right? A lot of driving and working mainly on your own? Well let me share some challenges with you so I'm upfront. Job is basically 8 to 5 IF everything goes well. If it doesn't go well or if we get busy, you will get stuck at stores later than you would like. You will sometimes have to start earlier in the morning or start late for special projects, so you will need to be adaptable. Once you get comfortable, you and the other techs will swap availability on weekends. When you're available for those weekends, you will get called out to run emergency service calls, sometimes far away. You won't get called out every weekend, but it will happen. We also have each tech conduct Preventative Maintenance once a week at a store. That means cleaning out lane equipment, making sure inventory matches and catching any issues that may arise. Sounds like a lot, but once you apply yourself and learn your craft, you will be in and out of stores, and most days should be challenge free.
