Job Summary:Â Â
The Technology Solutions Manager, SCI is responsible for identifying, managing, and delivering technology solutions tailored to the construction environment. This role bridges the gap between Sabeyâs construction operations and modern technological capabilities, with a focus on streamlining workflows, enhancing communication, improving productivity, and integrating innovative tools such as AI and automation. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction industry workflows and culture and will drive adoption of practical technology that enhances field and office collaboration.âŻÂ

Principal Accountabilities:Â
Project Management:âŻÂ
Lead the design and execution of technology initiatives supporting construction planning, coordination, and field execution.âŻÂ
Collaborate with construction managers, superintendents, and project engineers to understand needs and define technology solutions that align with operational goals.âŻÂ
Apply project management best practices to deliver timely and effective implementations across diverse construction environments.âŻÂ

Stakeholder Engagement:âŻÂ
Partner with field teams, construction leadership, safety, procurement, and design teams to uncover inefficiencies and tech opportunities.âŻÂ
Facilitate communication and decision-making between construction stakeholders and technology vendors.âŻÂ
Build trust across job sites and office teams by delivering high-impact, user-friendly technology solutions.âŻÂ

Technology Implementation:âŻÂ
Lead the deployment of construction-focused tools such as mobile field applications, equipment tracking, scheduling platforms, and workflow automation solutions.âŻÂ
Guide user acceptance testing with field staff, ensuring tools meet real-world construction use cases.âŻÂ
Develop training materials and in-person demos tailored for crews, foremen, and support staff with varying technical familiarity.âŻÂ

Product Strategy and Roadmap:âŻÂ
Shape a technology roadmap that supports Sabey Constructionâs long-term growth, safety, and operational excellence goals.âŻÂ
Identify opportunities to introduce AI-driven forecasting, progress tracking, automated compliance monitoring, and computer vision tools for job sites.âŻÂ

Product Optimization:âŻÂ
Track tool adoption and identify opportunities for optimization based on field feedback and data analytics.âŻÂ
Continuously iterate on technology implementations to meet evolving project and regulatory requirements.âŻÂ
Lead change management efforts to integrate digital workflows into established construction practices.âŻÂ

Risk Management:âŻÂ
Evaluate risks related to technology usage in active construction environments, including safety, compliance, and operational disruption.âŻÂ
Ensure all solutions are compliant with safety standards and data security requirements.âŻÂ
Â
Performance Metrics and Reporting:âŻÂ
Define and report on success metrics such as tool utilization rates, process efficiency gains, and safety/compliance improvements.âŻÂ
Produce visual dashboards and executive summaries to communicate value and outcomes to senior construction and technology leadership.âŻÂ

Continuous Improvement and Innovation:âŻÂ
Stay current on construction technology trends such as BIM integration, robotics, generative design, and predictive scheduling.âŻÂ
Explore and pilot new technologies that can increase labor efficiency, reduce delays, and drive margin improvement.âŻÂ
Promote a culture of innovation within Sabey Construction by highlighting tangible wins and field team success stories.âŻÂ

Essential Functions:Â Â
Conduct feasibility studies and ROI analysis for technology initiatives in active and future construction projects.âŻÂ
Manage vendor and tool selection processes with a construction-first lens.âŻÂ
Maintain strong documentation and knowledge transfer to ensure scalability of solutions across multiple projects.âŻÂ
Interact with all levels of Sabey Constructionâfrom field to executiveâand provide guidance that respects construction culture and priorities.âŻÂ
Adhere to Company information security policies and standards by safeguarding confidential data, protecting access credentials, completing all required trainings on time, and taking immediate action to report potential security threats or breaches.âŻÂ

Minimum Qualifications:Â
Bachelorâs degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field â or equivalent field experience in the construction industry.âŻÂ
3+ years of experience working with or within construction teams, with exposure to technology implementation and change management.âŻÂ
Understanding of construction scheduling, field operations, procurement, and safety compliance processes.âŻÂ
Familiarity with construction tech tools such as Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam, Autodesk Build, or similar platforms.âŻÂ
Experience applying AI solutions to solve enterprise challenges.âŻÂ

Minimum Competencies:Â
Strong communication skills tailored to construction audiencesâclear, concise, and practical.âŻÂ
Ability to earn credibility with field teams and superintendents by understanding their challenges and translating them into solutions.âŻÂ
Comfortable navigating between job site visits and office-based strategy and reporting work.âŻÂ
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.âŻÂ

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $105,262 â $163,156 depending on experience.Â
