This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of wireless communications projects, including land mobile radio, cellular, and microwave systems. As a Wireless Communications System Engineer I, you will assist senior engineers with technical analyses, RF design, and system operations. The position allows hands-on experience with RF propagation, interference analysis, frequency licensing, and subsystem evaluation, while providing support for both internal and client-facing technical reviews. Working in a collaborative environment, you will contribute to ensuring high-quality and reliable communications systems. This is an excellent opportunity to develop foundational expertise in wireless engineering under experienced mentorship. Strong attention to detail, adherence to engineering standards, and effective communication are essential to success in this role. Accountabilities In this role, you will: · Assist senior communications system and RF engineers with engineering tasks and technical analyses. · Perform RF propagation studies, interference analyses, and microwave path calculations. · Support frequency analysis and licensing processes. · Analyze RF subsystems and contribute to technical documentation. · Prepare technical reviews for internal teams and client presentations. · Follow established engineering practices, procedures, and instructions to accomplish assigned tasks. Requirements The ideal candidate will have: · Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience. · Minimum of 1 year of experience in land mobile radio, cellular radio, microwave radio, or wireless communications systems. · Familiarity with engineering principles, processes, and standard practices in communications system design. · Basic understanding of RF propagation, interference analysis, and subsystem evaluation. · Ability to work under direct supervision and follow written instructions. · Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. · Effective verbal and written communication skills to support internal teams and client reviews.
