The Role We are seeking a Digital Ingestion Associate, contractor, to help bring a growing number of superb curricula to K–12 schools across the country. Our organization is driven by our mission to put high-quality curricula in front of as many students and teachers as possible. Requirements Key Responsibilities  Follow Product Team documentation and onboarding protocols to correctly edit and evaluate digital assessments into Open Up Resources partners platforms for Math and ELA content.  Evaluate the transformation of items from print to digital format and provide feedback to ingestion partners. Ensure content meets best practices for accessibility. Apply updates or corrections to existing content as needed and approved. Maintain documentation systems to coordinate remote teams.  Review ingested content for accuracy. Execute on a quality assurance process to ensure that the content has been correctly ingested and is functioning as intended. Meet and communicate virtually with your project lead on a regular basis to ensure you’re meeting project milestones and timelines. Identify issues with content ingestion and/or timelines before they become a problem.  Job Qualifications Background in educational technology preferred Demonstrated high-level of fluency and understanding in digital publishing platforms (Wordpress, Google Classroom, or other platforms that utilize a rich text editor) Minimum of 2years experience with content or learning management systems Must be comfortable with and knowledgeable of Math and English Language Arts content Strong attention to detail Precise and effective communications Excellent organizational and time management skills with a virtual environment Ability to foster a positive remote team environment Benefits Additional Details At Open Up Resources, we believe in building and fostering an inclusive workplace environment.
