Manage digital representations of complex systems using modeling languages such as SysML Lead the adoption and implementation of MBSE practices within projects, ensuring models effectively support design, analysis, and decision-making Work collaboratively with a multi-discipline team to decompose cybersecurity system requirements into functional and logical architecture and allocate logical architecture to physical implementation Create and maintain system models, ensuring they are accurate, compliant with standards, and effectively used for various engineering tasks Capture system requirements traceability within the system architecture model, linking them to architectural and design artifacts Apply model-based system engineering (MBSE) methodology to develop system architectural views using Systems Modeling Language (SysML) Utilize the system architecture model in support of systems engineering milestone reviews such as SRR, SDR, PDR, CDR, etc. Use state machine modeling and analysis to demonstrate dynamic system behavior, accurate state transitions, and impact of design decisions Integrate MBSE with other digital engineering activities, such as configuration management and simulation Review and translate Customer reference architecture model to internal architecture model Provide input to continuously improve MBSE training, processes, and tools Mentor systems engineers in MBSE processes and tools Foster strong customer relationships· Must be able to maintain a restricted badge and work on site 4+ days per week Provide technical and programmatic recommendations on the development, integration, and use of digital engineering and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) concepts and structures Other duties as assigned Requirements Education/Training:  Bachelor’s Degree in relevant engineering or science discipline required Must have, or obtain within 3 months of start date, a current IAT Level II Certification (Security+ CE) Object Management Group Certified Systems Modeling Professional - Model Builder Fundamental (OCSMP - MBF) certification preferred Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification preferred  Experience: 8+ years of general (full-time) work experience 5+ years of experience with systems engineering processes and tools 5+ years of experience creating MBSE systems models in Cameo/NoMagic, IBM Rhapsody, or SPARX Enterprise Architect Experience with Agile development methodologies, including iteration planning and status reporting required Experience with Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and Unified Architecture Framework (UAF) required Experience leading technical teams or projects preferred  Security: Must be a US citizen Candidate must be in possession of a minimum DoD issued Secret Clearance Physical Requirements: Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.) Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time Benefits Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) Retirement Plan (401k, IRA) Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D) Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays) Short Term & Long Term Disability Training & Development Wellness Resources Salary: $115,000 - 135,000 Salary rates for this position are competitive and commensurate with experience and industry standards.
