Position for Trainee to Three Year Attorney (Inland Empire)

Insurance defense law firm experiencing tremendous growth has multiple openings for sharp-minded and eager attorneys looking for that break into the legal world or a change within the legal field. Applicants must be located close to the Inland Empire and be in good standing with the California State Bar. This legal position includes: -- In-person training at our San Bernardino office. The associate attorney position can eventually become more hybrid with increased experience and ability to work with less supervision. -- Will receive active hands-on experience doing tasks such as handling non-complex cases, making remote and in-person appearances at Boards in the Inland Empire (SBR, RIV, POM), conducting depositions, summarizing records, and resolving liens. -- Employer paid benefits includes 100% paid HMO medical insurance, dental insurance, 401(k) profit-sharing plan, paid State Bar dues along with workers' compensation section dues, paid pre-approved MCLE classes, and free month-end staff lunches. -- Attorney starting salary of $85,000 with 2-4 merit increases during the first two years depending upon growth of the attorney's abilities. -- Will also consider J.D. graduates to work in a paralegal capacity while waiting for July 2025 California State Bar results. This would be paid at $30 per hour for 25-30 hours per week without benefits. Would be considered for an attorney position upon becoming licensed.
