LEGAL ASSISTANT/PARALEGAL (DISCOVERY CLERK) Highly busy law office with an emphasis on family law is seeking a full-time discovery clerk. Must have excellent communication skills. Assist attorneys and paralegals. Qualifications: • Highly organized. • Self-Motivated. • Proactive. • Be able to work in a fast-paced work environment. • Strong communication skills, both verbal and in writing. • Time management. • Maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality. • Good telephone skills. • Follow instructions. • Work a family law case from beginning to end. Responsibilities: Manage all Discovery propounding and responding time constraints, ability to draft legal memorandum and briefs. Manage family law files from beginning to conclusion. Qualifications We Are Seeking: • Associate or Bachelor’s degree (paralegal certification is a plus but not mandatory) • Eagerness to help and take pride in what you do • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Bilingual a plus (Spanish speaker preferred) • Prior experience as a paralegal, preferably in workers’ compensation or working in organized labor, is highly desirable.
