Busy Workers' Compensation Defense law firm seeking a full- time Office Administrative Assistant. Applicants must be computer literate, prioritize and multitask, be detailed oriented and provide general office support. Job Responsibilities include: - Calendaring, Filing, scanning, photocopying large volume of documents including exhibits -Processing Mail including incoming and outgoing mail, overnight packages -Closing files and maintaining accurate logs -Helping attorneys with files Job Requirements Include: Ability to recognize and differentiate between various types of legal documents. Prior law firm experience a plus. Must be a self-starter who is well organized and can handle multiple task with the ability to prioritize work. Ability to work in fast paced environment while paying close attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Bilingual is a plus. 60 day probation period. Proficient in Word Perfect and Outlook desired Ability to operate standard office equipment such as personal computer, photocopier and scanner. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

This position is a mid-to-high level position; ideal candidates will have a minimum of five years of current legal and secretarial experience, with responsibility for supporting litigation matters.
