Available Positions: We are currently hiring for the following positions: A) Lead Climber ($30-$50/hour DOE) Responsibilities: - Perform expert pruning according to ANSI A300 and ISA standards. - Climb and remove common NW trees. - Proficiently use heavy rigging equipment (port-a-wrap, lowering devices, GRCS, etc.). - Assist in job site planning, hazard identification, and crew efficiency. - Provide training and mentorship to crew members. - Install various tree cabling systems. - Identify tree species, risk, and hazards. - Adhere to all required PPE and safety protocols. Requirements: - Minimum 2 years of climbing experience. - Proficient in SRT/SRS/MRS climbing techniques. - Professional, punctual, and detail-oriented. - Full-time, year-round commitment. - Excellent team player with a positive attitude. - Must be at least 18 years old. Preferred Qualifications (contribute to starting wage): - 3-5+ years as a Lead Climber on a production crew. - CPR/First Aid Certification (provided after introductory period). - Crane/Bucket experience. - CDL Class A. - ISA Certified Arborist. - Aerial Rescue Training/Certification. - Line Clearance Certification. - Experience with skid steers/articulating loaders. B) Co-Lead/Jr Climber ($20-$40/hour DOE) Responsibilities: - Perform pruning according to ANSI A300 and ISA standards. - Climb and remove common NW trees. - Use heavy rigging equipment (port-a-wrap, lowering devices, GRCS, etc.). - Adhere to all required PPE and safety protocols. Job description Civil construction firm specializing underground utility projects (water, storm sewer) is currently seeking experienced heavy equipment operators. The right candidates will have a minimum of 5 years experience operating large excavators and dozers. Punctuality and reliable transportation is required. Drug testing is a condition of employment. Pays prevailing wage. Walk-ins welcome between 9AM - 4:30 PM Monday - Friday at 20607 State Route 9 SE Snohomish WA 98296. Duties and Responsibilities • Provide support to successful completion of construction and engineering work. • Read and understand blueprints. • Knowledge of State, County and City codes and requirements. • Operate all heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, front-end loaders, and related equipment in a safe and secure way. • Perform finish dozer work and ability to grade +- .10 • Dig main lines • Read plan and set the lasers • Operate the equipment in such a way as to prevent accidents and damage of property. • Perform periodical safety, maintenance or servicing checks to ensure proper functioning of the equipment and make minor repairs if needed. • Inform and advise the management or repairmen for major repairs or maintenance. • Perform road work, clearing, grading, main line digging, storm, sewer, water and dry utilities and fine grading. • Operate the equipment manually and also through the use of lasers. Knowledge Requirement A heavy equipment operator must possess knowledge to perform work satisfactorily. The essential criteria must include the knowledge of: • Must have ability to read the plans, survey stakes and know how to set the lasers • Minor repair of equipment • Workplace safety practices Qualifications • Must have physical and mental ability to withstand strenuous work environments.
