This role will work closely with the Superintendent to ensure projects run smoothly and efficiently, assisting with daily operations such as unlocking and securing the job site, communicating with subcontractors, drafting and sending project emails, and maintaining a clean and orderly site environment. Candidates should expect to perform some physical labor as part of maintaining the job site, including general upkeep and hands-on support when needed. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn, with strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with a wide range of construction professionals. We have a growing machine shop that is looking for a tech to tear down our engines. Some experience with motors and motor builds preferred. We are a fast pace shop that is part of a large automotive speed shop we do custom builds for the automotive shop and other jobs for outside customers. The job is to assist with all aspects of fabrication on the shop floor. Tasks include but not limited to: • Cutting metal parts • Laying out cutting lines • Fitting fabricated steel items • Using measuring tools to inspect work • Maintaining tools and equipment • Maintaining a safe workplace • Must be able to read, write and speak English • Position requires physical labor – must be able to lift (up to 100 pounds), pull, push, and bend.
