Our company is seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter for a full-time position working on light commercial and residential projects throughout Hernando County Florida. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can manage a crew, deliver high-quality craftsmanship, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. This role is for a self-motivated professional with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Key responsibilities: Project construction and management: Lead on-site carpentry crews, providing direction and supervision to ensure work is completed to company standards. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine materials and project requirements. Perform skilled rough and finish carpentry, including framing, drywall, cabinetry, flooring, and trim work on both commercial and residential job sites. Execute light commercial build-outs, including metal stud framing and drywall, hollow metal frame installations. Perform residential remodeling tasks such as demolition, framing, and installing windows, doors, and trim. Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project flow.
