Vogts Parga Construction, LLC, a local heavy concrete construction company in Moundridge, Kansas is growing and looking for a dedicated and reliable Mechanic who also enjoys the variety of working on regular trucks as well as heavy equipment like loaders, skid steers, etc. Mechanic Specific Responsibilities: • Maintenance and repair of mechanical, hydraulic, diesel and gas systems on a variety of equipment - large & small. • Qualified applicants must have previous experience repairing and maintaining heavy construction equipment and formal training is preferred. • Be able to inspect tires, controls, check fuel and fluids to ensure reliable operation. • Change attachments, make adjustments, verify information and troubleshoot problems. • Store and clean machinery at its designated location and complete work reports. • Purchase and transport oil, gas, and replacement parts to the project site and assist with maintenance and repairs. • Must practice safety, in every move, estimating weights and distances, being fully aware of surroundings and doing part to minimize hazards. • Participate in daily meetings with your supervisor and staff, maintain constant communications through the work period. Mechanic Core Competencies: • High school diploma/GED Required • Special technical and educational training a Plus • 2+ years performing equipment services and maintenance Preferred Compensation: • Vogts Parga offers competitive salary based on experience and proven performance.
