Please read the entire ad before applying. Guardian Gutters LLC is now hiring for the position of gutter installer. Training pay starts at $22 per hour, with higher earning potential through pay by performance for long term employment. Skilled installers/team leaders frequently make up to $50-$60 per hour through pay by performance. The ideal candidate is motivated to work, learn and earn. This person will work with care, precision, skill and efficiency. This person pays attention to details and has a strong awareness of what’s happening around them with the project and team members. Once fully trained, this person can be self-directed and able to take responsibility for seeing a project to completion without supervision. HOURS: Work starts in the AM and continues until job(s) completion or end of day. This position requires flexibility in scheduling. Work is scheduled Tuesday-Friday. We sometimes work Saturday and Monday as well. Exact work times and quantity are subject to seasonality, weather and customers. Season is approximately March - January. JOB DESCRIPTION, Gutter Installer Full/Part Time, Seasonal: In the position of Gutter installers at Guardian Gutters LLC you will be working on a two-man team. You will be traveling to people’s homes and sometimes businesses in the company truck with all the materials, tools and equipment needed to complete the job. Before leaving the yard with the work truck, you will verify that you have all the appropriate materials for the day's work and that the work rig is clean and prepared. You will fabricate aluminum gutters from a gutter roll forming machine, hang gutters buildings and assemble downspouts. You will be ensuring that all gutter systems are leak free and drains properly.You will also be doing gutter cleanings, installing covers on new and existing gutters, attaching snow retention devices to roofs, running heat tape in gutters and on roofs, digging shallow trenches for installing in ground drainage pipes and doing light landscaping for water runoff management. After completion of a project, the worksite must be cleaned of any trash or debris left and all tools and materials packed back on the truck in an orderly manner. When returning the truck to the yard, all the day’s trash must be taken out, unused materials unloaded tomorrow's materials loaded onto the truck. You or your teammate will be driving a large box truck loaded with tools and equipment. You will be working at people's private homes and interacting with clients. You will be working outside in the weather all day. You will be handling and working on tall, heavy ladders. Half the job is traveling from place to place and up and down ladders while wearing bags and carrying tools or workpieces. You must be able to boogie. The job requires a level of athleticism in strength, agility and balance. Most job location are in Flagstaff or Williams, but we sometimes work in the surrounding areas, Sedona, Ashfork, Winslow and Grand Canyon. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants will need reliable transportation and a working cell phone. Your cell phone will need to be charged and with you every workday. A valid driver’s license, clean driving record and the ability to pass drug test are required. Applicants will need to be able to provide valid identification and be legally allowed to work in the United States. You will need to be clean, presentable and professional every day, as well as dressed appropriately for working outdoors all day in hot/cold/sunny/rainy changing weather. You will need appropriate, sturdy closed toe work boot/shoes. Guardian Gutters LLC is a drug-free, smoke-free workplace.
