About the Role: We’re hiring an experienced, hands-on working Construction Foreman to lead one of our structural field crews across Los Angeles County. This is a full-time, long-term position for someone with a deep background in concrete, framing, foundation work, and structural repair. You’ll work directly in the field alongside your crew, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to Alpha’s high-quality standards. What You’ll Do: - Lead and supervise a crew on structural and foundation repair projects - Plan daily tasks, assign responsibilities, and manage jobsite workflow - Interpret structural drawings, blueprints, and scope documents - Coordinate material, labor, and equipment needed - Ensure safety procedures are followed, and OSHA compliance is maintained - Track progress and maintain daily field reports - Communicate with Project Managers, Engineers, and clients as needed - Mentor and train crew members to help them grow professionally Project Types You’ll Work On: - Foundation repair and replacement - Residential, Commerical, & Industrial Properties - Soft-story and seismic retrofits (cripple wall, moment frames, etc.) - Retaining walls and landslide repair - Hillside stabilization - Structural framing and shoring - Drainage and waterproofing systems - Structural upgrades and general repairs What You Bring: 3–5 years of experience as a Foreman or lead in foundation, concrete, or structural repair work (required) Skilled in concrete, framing, shoring, seismic retrofitting, and drainage Ability to read structural drawings and blueprints Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Pickup truck suitable for transporting tools and materials (required) Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance (required) Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Must be able to work year-round throughout Orange County Must pass a drug test and be authorized to work in the U.S. Perks & Benefits: Competitive pay: $35/hour + Bonus opportunities for Foremen who exceed project goals 401(k) retirement plan Employer contribution toward medical and dental insurance Vision Insurance Paid time off and referral program Paid training and leadership development Stability and growth: 30+ years in business and still expanding, Year-round work Clear path for career development and internal promotion Real opportunities for promotion and career growth Schedule: Monday to Friday Day shift (8-hour shifts) Some weekend work may be required Work Location: Multiple job sites across Los Angeles County Field-based position – must be able to travel daily Equal Opportunity Employer: Alpha Structural is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. We have an immediate opening for a WORKING Pipe Layer/Heavy Equipment Operator. Candidates must have at least 3-5 years of experience installing water and sewer main line/services, storm drains. When necessary, you will also perform routine maintenance on the machines or recommend they be sent out for repairs. All employee's must follow company and governmental safety guidelines at all times. During the busy months there is ample ability for overtime and occasional work on Saturdays. Pipe Layer/Heavy Equipment Operator Duties and Responsibilities: -Responsible for assembling, connecting, and constructing pipe systems for storm sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains and pipelines. Ensures ground is prepped and trenches dug out for pipes. Aligns pipes and seals joints together with cement, glue or plastic welding. -Install sanitary and storm water sewer structures and pipe systems -Cut pipes to required lengths -Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction -Align and position pipes to prepare them for connection -Check slopes for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasers, must be able to shoot grade -Connect pipe pieces and seal joints, using welding equipment, cement, or glue -Tap and drill holes into pipes to introduce auxiliary lines or devices -Cover pipes with earth or other materials -Grade and level trench bases, using tamping machines and hand tools -Train others in pipe-laying techniques Other General Labor and construction related duties as required.
