Prominent, Tampa Bay Kitchen & Bath Design Firm has an immediate, Full-Time 1099 SUB-CONTRACTOR opportunity for an experienced, High-End Custom Cabinetry and Millwork Installer or Installation Team. Our commitment to precision, quality, and client satisfaction sets us apart. We’re looking for an experienced, detail-oriented cabinetry installer to join our skilled team. As a Custom Cabinetry Installer, you will play a key role in our installation process, ensuring that every piece of cabinetry is meticulously installed to perfection. You’ll work on high-end residential projects, collaborating with our experienced and highly skilled field project managers, to deliver exceptional results. 5+ Years of Custom Cabinetry Installation Experience is REQUIRED to do this job. Must speak English Fluently. Pay will be by Job Bid, or hourly ($45-60.00/hour), based on experience, tooling and skill level. Installation experience must include: - Plan layout, Installation including multi-step crown installation, Sub-Zero appliance panel installation and scribing panels, fillers, etc. to the walls / floors. - High end installers should be able to handle field adjustments and minor finishing and touch-up. Must be tooled up to install High-end Custom Cabinetry and have reliable transportation (preferably a truck or van). Ensuring all electrical is properly functioning in the new home. Duties/Responsibilities: Warranty Calls •Ensuring timeliness of calls regarding homeowners’ schedule. •Able to troubleshoot and repair homeowners’ electrical issues. •Ensuring all homes we enter are left clean of all debris, material etc. from our warranty calls. •Ability to handle dissatisfied homeowners and deescalate situations regarding frustration of call etc. Duties/Responsibilities: Hot Checks •Able to accurately complete “Hot Checks” prior to final inspection and homeowner closing. •Must have knowledge in energizing and deenergizing homes. •Confirming all equipment is properly installed and functional. •Able to troubleshoot any faulty equipment, circuit, and breakers. •Must communicate with the service manager and supervisor regarding any issues that arise during “Hot Checks”. •Ensure the home is left in “move in” condition. Duties/Responsibilities: Punch Lists •Must be able to complete Punch List – A punch list is a quality checklist from the builder of the homeowner of any issues identified during the walk through. •Must be able to troubleshoot and read blueprints/ floor plans. •Must have National Electric Code (NEC) knowledge. •Must communicate with the manager regarding any issues that arise. Required Skills/Abilities: •Electrical trade knowledge for all aspects of residential electrical. •Ability to read prints and scale to ensure placement of fixtures, receptacles, switches, etc. •Must have their own standard residential electrical tools. •Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. •Must have specialty tool use knowledge – i.e. Jack Hammer, Generator, Multimeter, Toner. •Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. •Must be able to read paperwork and fill out necessary information. Education and Experience: •Previous experience in all phases of residential electrical. •High school diploma or GED preferred. •Must have electrical safety knowledge. (Lock Out Tag Out) Physical Requirements: •Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, crouching, crawling, and climbing ladders. •Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits. •Must be able to work in hot and confined spaces (attic work). •Must be able to use hand and power tools for extended periods of time. •Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. •Must have clean driving record. Key responsibilities: Project construction and management: Lead on-site carpentry crews, providing direction and supervision to ensure work is completed to company standards. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine materials and project requirements. Perform skilled rough and finish carpentry, including framing, drywall, cabinetry, flooring, and trim work on both commercial and residential job sites. Execute light commercial build-outs, including metal stud framing and drywall, hollow metal frame installations. Perform residential remodeling tasks such as demolition, framing, and installing windows, doors, and trim. Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project flow. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of verifiable carpentry experience, with a focus on both residential and light commercial projects. Proven ability to lead a crew and manage a job site.
