Dark Horse Construction is seeking Equipment Operators to join our team! We are a small earthwork contractor serving the greater Portland and Willamette Valley surrounding areas. We focus on commercial and civil projects, about 20-30% of our jobs are prevailing wage. Similar experience is what we are looking for. (Apartment complexes, fast food restaurants, pipe and road work). Jobs range from Albany to Portland (mostly Portland area). SKILLS NEEDED: - Construction knowledge/ability to read plans - Be self-motivated, dependable, and work well with others - Convey professionalism and quality on our job sites at all times - Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds or more - Physical requirements include: standing, bending, squatting, sitting, kneeling, crawling, repetitive motion of hands and wrists, walking, and climbing - Work conditions include working outside even in adverse weather conditions COMPENSATION: We offer the following: - Competitive pay – Pay is DOE - Medical, Dental and Vision - PTO, Sick time and Holiday pay - 401k with company match We are a drug free company.
