The Opportunity: Total Life is currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Associate Clinical Social Work (ASW) Intern in the state of California who is looking to fill their clinical hours for licensure by providing virtual individual therapy under a supervisor. The successful candidate must have proven experience working with seniors suffering from anxiety, depression, grief and loss, loneliness, life transition, medication/pain management, and end-of-life planning. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a thriving start-up with the opportunity for growth. Registered interns receive free supervision. This is a remote position. Your Role: Provide clinical and therapeutic services to individuals according to discipline standards and in accordance with policies and procedures. Completing individualized biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes within 24-48 hours. Maintain confidentiality of electronic health records (EHR) that are in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and other federal and state regulations. Remain up to date with clinical knowledge and treatment modalities. Demonstrates understanding of sound ethical practice. Complete and maintain all required continuing education requirements for specific licensure and specializations. Be aware of community referral sources and refer when necessary. Follow all safety protocols as set out by National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Code of Ethics.
