THE ROLE - An ASSEMBLER assembles rupture disc units of the highest quality and prepares them for shipping in a safe and cost-effective manner to ensure the best delivery in accordance with all company policies and manufacturing procedures. THIS IS A 2ND SHIFT - 2pm - 10pm. Requirements ·  Trim Teflon ·  Clean rupture disc and holder parts ·  Cut outside diameters of rupture discs ·  Spot weld components ·  Operate presses and other required equipment ·  Use co-bots and other automated and robotic equipment ·  Proof pressure and leak tests ·  Inspect completed rupture disc assemblies to verify that they conform to specifications ·  Assemble units and prepare them for shipping ·  Perform any listed essential functions in a high-volume repetitive manner when required ·  Utilize and supervise the performance of automated machines ·  Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing machine performance issues ·  Comply with company productivity and quality requirements ·  Operate forklift when and as needed ·  Perform other duties as assigned, based on workload and business need EDUCATION: ·  High school diploma or GED ·  1-3 months work experience in a production environment.  Previous experience in a production position at CDC is preferred.
