Description The Baltimore office of RMF Engineering, Inc. (RMF) is seeking a mechanical, electrical, or civil/structural engineering student for an hourly paid, full-time summer internship in our Baltimore, Maryland office. Unpaid time off is granted as needed. Our normal working hours are flexible with core business hours from 9 am to 3 pm. (Hourly rate: $21.00) Duties: Assist in calculations associated with studies and designs under the direction and guidance of a mentor. Assist in the production of plan, diagram, and detail drawings using AutoCAD or Revit software. Assist in field investigations. Attend consultant meetings to observe the coordination and collaboration process. Requirements Mech: Completion of Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, HVAC Design courses preferred. Elec: Completion of Circuits, Power Systems Analysis, Renewable Energy courses preferred. Engineering/Construction work-related skill, knowledge, and experience preferred. Must have working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Windows. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of AutoCAD or other BIM/Revit software is a plus.
