Fuse Integration is seeking world-class Systems Integration & Test Engineers to join our team in delivering next-generation communication solutions for our nation’s warfighters. In this role, you’ll lead integration and testing efforts in our Systems Integration Lab (SIL), support flight and ground demonstrations, and ensure mission-critical systems meet stringent DoD standards. What you'll do: Develop and Execute Test Plans: Translate system requirements into detailed test requirements and procedures, conduct integration and testing in lab and field environments, and verify system functionality against DoD standards. Lead Complex Integration Efforts: Decompose intricate architectural challenges into executable plans, coordinating with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, network, and systems engineers) to integrate systems into broader system-of-systems architectures. Support Flight and Ground Demonstrations: Participate in planning, execution, and troubleshooting of flight tests, ground-based demonstrations, and other operational evaluations. Ensure Configuration Control: Maintain strict configuration management of all test artifacts, including hardware, software, and test documentation, to ensure traceability and compliance. Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Perform root cause analysis and implement solutions for issues in test environments, architectures, and equipment during integration and test events. Drive Security and Compliance: Advocate for and enforce DoD security protocols (e.g., RMF, DoD 8570 compliance) and engineering best practices to safeguard controlled items and ensure system integrity. Collaborate with Stakeholders: Interface with program managers, engineering teams, and external customers to align on requirements, resources, and long-term project vision. Innovate Tools and Processes: Design and implement architectures, tools, and testbed features to enhance integration, testing, and verification efficiency. Mentor and Lead Teams: Guide junior engineers and technical staff in testing best practices, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. Requirements We are looking for: Education: B.S. in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (M.S. preferred). Experience: 8-12 years of hands-on experience in systems integration and test, with at least 5 years in a DoD environment supporting C4ISR systems. Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Linux OS and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, Shell) for test automation and debugging. Deep understanding of RF communications (LOS, SATCOM, mesh networks), IP networking, and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, SNMP). Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies, using tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Gitlab for continuous integration. Hands-on experience with test equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, signal generators) and calibration processes. Knowledge of automated test frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Robot, or similar) and regression testing for software-intensive systems. Extensive hands-on experience in military aircraft integration, including subsystem interfacing, avionics integration, and platform compatibility testing to meet stringent DoD requirements and enhance operational readiness. Solid foundation in writing test plans, test cases, planning and coordinating test events, and managing requirements and verification traceability through tools like IBM DOORS, Jama Connect, etc. Experience with virtualization (e.g., VMware, Kubernetes, Docker) and cloud-based testing environments. Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high-quality documentation and configuration control. Leadership and Soft Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in an integration and test environment, directing hardware, network, and software integration efforts. Exceptional problem-solving skills with a track record of resolving complex technical issues under tight deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, external customers, and DoD stakeholders. Self-motivated with proven initiative in independently driving daily tasks, prioritizing efforts based on evolving project objectives and overarching company priorities to ensure timely and impactful results. Additional Skills (Preferred): Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools like Cameo or Enterprise Architect. Familiarity with cybersecurity practices, including DoD 8570 certifications (e.g., Security+, CISSP). Knowledge of tactical data links (e.g., Link 16, CDL) and their integration into DoD systems. Experience with planning, coordinating, and executing Environmental Qualification Testing (EQT) to stringent MIL-STD standards, ensuring robust compliance and optimal performance of systems in diverse environmental conditions. Experience with flight test operations or unmanned systems (e.g., UAS, UUV). Clearance: Active DoD Secret clearance Citizenship: U.S. Citizen (required). This pioneering initiative will drive cutting-edge collaboration between government, industry, startups, and academia, pursue solutions to the world’s most critical challenges, and unlock economic opportunities for businesses and residents across the state. The AI Hub will strive to make AI technology more accessible to small and large enterprises in the state’s key sectors, enable researchers, entrepreneurs, and startups to pursue the development and commercialization of innovative new ideas, and, most importantly, the AI Hub will work to prepare the state’s workforce for the emerging opportunities in AI and will strive to enable all citizens to benefit from the inevitable changes that AI will introduce into society. The AI Hub is seeking to appoint a temporary Associate Program Director for its emerging Data Commons Collaborative, a stakeholder-driven initiative focused on enhanced access to public and private datasets that will catalyze the discovery of new product innovations in artificial intelligence.  The Data Commons Collaborative will be developed in partnership with the Artificial Intelligence Compute Resource (AICR) that is being established at the Massachusetts Green High Performance Computing Center (MGHPCC). This is a 10-15 hour a week position.  Role & Responsibilities Reporting to the Mass AI Hub Director, the Temporary Associate Program Director for the Data Commons Collaborative is responsible for ensuring that the development and deployment of AI in Massachusetts aligns with the public interest and respects the values and rights of the Commonwealth's citizens. The Temporary Program Director for the Data Commons Collaborative will oversee the technical development and implementation of operating guidelines and standards for a data commons platform intended to support end-to-end development and lifecycle management of AI models and algorithms in priority sectors in the Commonwealth. The Temporary Program Director for the Data Commons Collaborative will be responsible for guiding the deliberations of the Data Commons Collaborative working group for the AI Hub.  This role will include providing professional support for workstreams that establish policies and program requirements for data management and accessibility (infrastructure), data security and compliance (governance), and developing and implementing a use case prioritization framework.   This Working Group will inform the policies of the Mass AI Hub as it relates to the selection and sequencing of key priority sectors, the legal and ethical considerations with accessing data, and identifying operating guidelines required for a data commons, including data collection, sharing, access and usage best practices.
