Seeking to hire folks to participate in a jury research project on Monday October 6, 2025, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. via Zoom. Participants must reside in Western Washington. Participants will listen to brief presentations of both sides of a real lawsuit. Our intention is for you to come to a decision about the lawsuit. We will pay you $120 for the 2.0 hour session. Virtually everyone who has participated in these projects reports them to be extremely interesting, enjoyable, and worthwhile. You need no qualifications or expertise other than the ability to listen to both sides of a dispute and then make a fair decision. The Menlo Circus Club was founded in 1923 as a family club for social and recreational purposes. We offer Equestrian, Swimming, and Court Sports, as well as fine dining and entertainment. The Club has a rich tradition in Equestrian sport. We offer boarding, English-style riding programs, and a competitive show group called "The Circus.” Our Riding Instructor will be expected to teach beginners, supervise unmounted activities, and generally help with barn chores. The instructor will also assist the Barn Manager with educational programs. Part-Time, Less than 30 Hours Weekly. Must be available on weekends. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintains a clean and well-kept stable area. Follows strict feeding and watering instructions. Keeps water bowls, buckets, and feeding areas clean. Assists with the daily turnout of horses. Assists with grooming the horses. Report any horse health, injury, or abnormal behavior issues to the Barn Manager. Adheres to established Club Equestrian department rules and regulations. Assist the riding school supervisor with the camp and teaching of beginner lessons. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to work with and around horses. Reliable, hard-working. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to contribute to the team environment. Ability to work varied hours, weekends, and holidays as needed. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Prior horse handling experience and working in a barn/stable setting. Previous teaching experience. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to be on feet for up to 85% of shifts. Ability to lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 75 pounds Able to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, twist, turn, climb, and use hand tools for prolonged periods. Looking to add a responsible, experienced team member to our private facility in Santa Rosa. Location: Southeast, Santa Rosa. Position: Horse Caretaker/Groom Schedule: 8:30am-5pm five days a week, including weekends. About the Role: This is not a riding position. We are a private facility caring for high-level show horses. We are seeking someone experienced, dependable, and highly detail-oriented to join our team. Duties include but are not limited to: - Meticulous upkeep of stalls, barns, and horse facilities. -Must be well acquainted with handling large, lively horses safely and confidently. -Grooming to a professional, show-quality standard. -Administering medications (oral, injectable, topical) per veterinary guidelines. -Managing daily feeding schedules and special dietary/medical needs. -Monitoring horse health and immediately reporting any concerns. -Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. -Experience handling all aspects of horse care (for example, giving oral meds via syringe or feed through, equine first aid, ability to apply ointments, wraps, etc. per veterinary guidelines). Requirements: -Multiple years of experience handling horses is required (show horse experience preferred). -High attention to detail and ability to follow detailed care instructions. -Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently. -Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor throughout the day. -Must be available to work weekends and holidays if needed.
