ShareQualDerm Partners is seeking a motivated Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our team at our Lupton Dermatology location. In this role, you will work closely with our medical team to ensure that patients receive the highest standards of care during their visits. Responsibilities Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs and taking detailed medical histories. Assist the physician during procedures and examinations, ensuring all necessary instruments are prepared. Conduct basic lab tests, handle specimens, and prepare them for analysis. Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and documentation. Schedule patient appointments and manage office communications efficiently. Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and skincare routines. Ensure examination rooms are organized, clean, and stocked with needed supplies. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred. Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical role is highly desirable. Knowledge of medical terminology, particularly in the field of dermatology. Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective patient interaction. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information professionally. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in a busy healthcare environment. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic office software is an advantage.
