Description

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Project Team Manager to join our team and lead our multi-campus projects to success. The Projects Team Manager oversees all aspects of construction projects, from planning and budgeting to execution and completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards. They coordinate teams, manage resources, and communicate with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. This person will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects simultaneously and serving as the worksite representative for dealings with subcontractors, suppliers, customers, and government inspectors. This position reports directly to the Projects Director. Position Type: Full-Time Hours: 40 Hours per Week Salary: $26.00 Per Hour Responsibilities: Manage worksites for new-construction as well as remodeling projects, coordinating activities and ensuring that all work is in sync with project goals and objectives Provide direction to general contractors, subcontractors, engineers, architects, and vendors to ensure that quality standards are being met Prepare and manage estimates, budgets, timetables, and resources Identify, mitigate, and track recurring construction issues Adhere to legal regulations, building and safety codes, and other requirements Manages Capital Projects Team Worker(s) schedule, workflow, and Support permit applications as Bethel’s liaison to City of Redding Requirements Current, valid driver’s license with a clean record. Five years of General Contractor experience (Does not require active GC License). Proficient in all areas of building construction including, but not limited to; framing, drywall work, finish carpentry, minor electrical, and minor plumbing work. Strong and tested project management skills, including risk management. Thorough understanding of project management phases, techniques and tools. Experience using a variety of hand and power tools, and the ability to perform a variety of physical labor, including climbing ladders, bending, kneeling,reaching, and standing for long periods of time; lifting and carrying boxes, tools, equipment, and materials. Ability to recognize problems or situations that are new or without clear precedent. Ability to evaluate alternatives and find solutions using a systematic, multi-step approach. Superior interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, and negotiating skills. Experience motivating team members to action and able to identify common themes, make inferences and draw conclusions.
