Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Lathe Programmer/Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience programming and operating CNC lathes specifically Mazak, DMG Mori, and Doosan machines to produce high-quality components that meet tight tolerances and production goals. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to interpret complex blueprints and specifications. Responsibilities: Programming · Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for Mazak, DMG Mori, and Doosan lathes using Esprit/Fusion 360 CAM software and G-code. · Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications to create efficient and accurate machining programs. · Continuously refine existing programs to improve productivity, reduce cycle times, and maintain quality standards. Setup & Operation · Set up CNC lathes according to job specifications, including tool selection, offsets, workholding, and machine parameters. · Operate lathes to produce precision components within specified tolerances. · Monitor machining processes and make adjustments to maintain accuracy and efficiency. Quality Assurance · Inspect machined parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. · Identify and resolve machining issues related to tool wear, material inconsistencies, or equipment performance. · Maintain accurate setup sheets, tooling records, and production documentation. Collaboration & Support · Work closely with engineers, production staff, and quality control to ensure smooth workflow and meet production deadlines. · Provide technical support and guidance to other operators when needed. Requirements Skills & Qualifications: · Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Programmer/Operator. · Proficiency with Mazak, DMG Mori, and Doosan lathes. · In-depth understanding of CNC machining principles, tooling, and materials. · Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and GD&T. · Proficiency with Esprit/Fusion 360 CAM software and G-code programming. · Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. · Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. · High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in machining is a plus.
