Job Summary Looking for an independent and performance driven high level CNC machinist to run (and/or) set up CNC horizontal mills, conduct in process inspection, maintain tool wear and offsets, and potential other hand work while machines are running. The ideal candidate will have the ability to program, set-up, operate and inspect a part complete without limitation. 1st Shift is Monday-Friday from 7:00am-3:30pm. SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES Ability to run/ operate CNC Horizontal mills, sometimes multiple at once Knowledge of Fanuc and Haas controllers Knowledge and experience with Matsurra, and Haas CNC machines Independently set up CNC Horizontal mills Comfortable running palletized mills with multiple job setups in one machine Knowledge of Camworks/ Solidworks Knowledge of Mastercam Programming knowledge of G&M code, as well as CAD/CAM programming Programming with Main and sub programs Adding probing routines to programs ( fixture offset probing and tool breakage detection) Ability to design fixturing using CAD/CAM Knowledge of inspection using calipers/ micrometers/ micro height/ gauge pins/ thread gauges to maintain In-Process Inspection consistently Clean machines of chips and keep up with general maintenance and shop cleanliness Reliable and consistent with attendance and punctuality Willing to work amongst others as a team and maintain respectful relationships EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE  Certified Training - ISO 9001 & AS9100  Certified Training - ASME Y14.5 GD&T Standards.   5 Years - Setup and Operating Horizontal Machining Centers  5 Years - Precision CNC Machining  Experience with Fanuc Controls     PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS  Regularly required to stand and reach the duration of shift, 8 hours.  Occasionally required to walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or bend.  Frequently required to perform repetitive or short-cycles work.  Regularly lift, push, or pull up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.  Strong work ethic: Willing to work OT to meet tight deadlines as needed.  Understands and observes all necessary safety procedures: safety glasses, shoes, ear protection, machine interlocks, lifting guidelines, etc. as designated in specific work area assigned.  This position is not limited to the description, we will consider individuals that are over or under qualified if you show the willingness to work with the team and learn new skills and concepts. The Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA), Executive Office (EX), Procurement and Administrative Services Division (PAS), has a requirement for contractor support to its E2 travel operations team. As part of ECA/EX’s effort to increase the PAS travel team’s operational capacity and capabilities, the Government intends to procure two full time E2 travel experts (one at junior level and one at senior level) to assist the travel team with its full range of travel operations. These operations are comprised of six distinct functional areas: E2 Operations, Passport and Visa Processing, Travel Analytics and Operational Assessments, Customer Relations, Policy, and Customer Training. The contractor will complete day-to-day operations in each of these areas, bring both existing E2 and State Department knowledge, as well as industry best practices, to PAS travel team operations. Responsibilities:  The contractor shall utilize existing knowledge and best practices to assist the PAS travel team with all obligations and operations taking place within the E2 travel system. Tasks in the area include the following: Following all government-wide and State Department specific regulations, review, edit, return and/or process all travel authorizations and vouchers submitted for ECA, R/PPR, and GEC employees. This is inclusive of all amendments that may be necessary to submitted authorizations and vouchers. The contractor shall serve as the E2 expert for all ECA, R/PPR, and GEC customers, handling all questions and concerns about system operations, and assisting them in identifying future travel needs.
