We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Carpenter (Handyman) to join our team full-time. This role involves carpentry, general building maintenance, and farm/ranch work. The ideal candidate is versatile, hardworking, and comfortable working both indoors and outdoors across a wide range of construction and repair tasks. Key Responsibilities Build, repair, and maintain wooden structures, including sheds, fences, and property outbuildings. Perform general handyman tasks such as minor electrical, plumbing, and painting work. Carry out building maintenance and property upkeep, ensuring safe and functional facilities. Assist with construction projects, including custom builds and improvements to property. Maintain and repair ranch/farm infrastructure, such as gates, corrals, and equipment sheds. Conduct routine inspections of facilities, machinery, and tools to ensure safe and efficient operation. Respond to urgent repair needs in a timely and professional manner. Requirements Qualifications Proven experience in carpentry and handyman work. General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Ability to safely use a wide range of hand tools, power tools, and equipment. Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability across different types of projects. Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Preferred Skills Experience with farm or ranch maintenance. Ability to operate small machinery and equipment (tractors, skid steers, etc.). Welding or fabrication skills a plus. Schedule & Compensation Full-time position with steady work year-round. Competitive pay based on experience and skill set.

It’s a mission-oriented place that will be lively and active all year round — with new events and experiences around every corner.   The opportunity: The Building Engineer at the National Western Center (NWC) is responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and repair of the building systems and infrastructure within the NWC campus. This includes HVAC, plumbing, mechanical systems, and general facility maintenance. Help us make the reimagined National Western Center campus among the most desirable event spaces in the Denver market!   What you will do:   Building / Campus Operations ·       Assist with energy management efforts, including monitoring and controlling energy consumption HVAC and Mechanical systems to improve sustainability and reduce operational costs.  ·       Assist with the operation, monitoring, maintenance, inspections, and repair of all HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal functionality and energy efficiency. Regular inspections of the building and surrounding grounds to identify safety hazards, cleanliness issues, or maintenance needs. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and building codes.  ·       Complete ongoing Job Hazard Analysis, SOPs, and other documentation needed for the safety and success of the Facilities Team. ·       Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software to manage work orders, schedule preventive maintenance tasks, track inventory, and maintain accurate records. Ensure timely and accurate data entry within the system to support efficient operations. Respond promptly and professionally to work orders and requests.
