This role offers the unique opportunity to own projects from concept through commissioning, acting as both a technical expert and a project leader for clients in the entertainment and manufacturing industries. The ideal candidate will combine deep mechanical design prowess with the leadership skills to guide projects and mentor teams. Key Responsibilities: Perform full lifecycle mechanical design and analysis, including stress, fatigue, acceleration, and load calculations. Develop and implement integrated mechanical assembly systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety codes and standards (including ASTM). Conduct hazard analyses, risk assessments, and failure mode effects analysis (FMEA) to optimize system reliability and safety. Create comprehensive system documentation, including design descriptions, test plans, and maintenance procedures. Produce detailed mechanical designs, assembly drawings, and installation layouts using AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks. Design and troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic control systems.
