This role is responsible for managing the revenue cycle, ensuring accurate charge capture, claim submission, payment posting, and denial management specific to urology services and procedures. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of urology coding, payer guidelines, and compliance regulations to maximize reimbursement and support practice growth. Key Responsibilities Accurately prepare and submit claims for urology-related services, including office visits, diagnostic procedures, surgeries, and ancillary services. Ensure proper coding of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 specific to urology procedures (e.g., cystoscopy, lithotripsy, prostate procedures, urodynamics). Review documentation for accuracy and compliance with payer requirements and federal regulations. Manage accounts receivable, post payments, and reconcile EOBs/ERAs. Monitor and resolve claim denials, rejections, and underpayments in a timely manner. Communicate with insurance companies to follow up on outstanding claims and appeal denied claims.
