Applied AI Researcher - Video Diffusion

Location: San Francisco, CA Employment Type: Full-time On-site: In-person in SF About the Role Our client is a company on a mission to build the world's best video foundation model for human motion and emotion. Their technology allows creators to generate expressive, talking head videos from a single image. They've raised a $6M seed round from top investors and are growing rapidly. This is an opportunity to be part of the early pioneers defining the bleeding edge of AI video development. What You'll Do Train large-scale diffusion transformer models across hundreds of GPUs. Distill models to run cheaply and quickly without sacrificing quality. Stay up to date with the latest video generation techniques by reading research papers and proactively bringing new ideas to the team. Clean and label internet-scale video data. Train LoRAs to enable new features. Requirements 2+ years of experience building ML models from scratch. Very strong demonstrated engineering ability in Python and PyTorch.
