Ash & Harris Executive Search is looking for a CNC Milling Machinist Overview: Our client, a leader in precision manufacturing, is seeking a skilled and independent CNC Milling Machinist with significant 5-axis experience. This is a direct-hire opportunity for a professional who excels in a hands-on environment with minimal supervision, particularly within the aerospace sector. Key Responsibilities: Set up, operate, and perform adjustments on CNC 5-axis machining centers. Troubleshoot machine controllers, equipment, and processes to ensure quality and efficiency. Read and interpret complex blueprints to meet precise specifications. Select appropriate tools and set correct feeds and speeds for optimal machining. Inspect machined parts using precision hand tools and measuring equipment. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, including all tools and equipment. Manage and re-order tooling inventory as needed. Handle parts and materials, with the ability to lift up to 70 lbs. Requirements: Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Experiences: 4-5 years of hands-on experience in CNC 5-axis milling setup and operation. Experience in the aerospace industry is a significant advantage. Other: Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
