Full-time or Part-time experienced LPN or RN needed to work in our Princeton Allergy and Asthma office for a growing medical practice. No weekends. Allergy experience a plus. Pay will be based on degree and experience. Nursing responsibilities include, but are not limited to: · Escort patients to and from exam room · Interview patients for current and past medical history, verify medications, obtain vital signs; height, weight, blood pressure, pulse, peak flow and accurately enter data into our EMR system · Assist physician with examination and treatment of patient's care · Perform skin testing, pulmonary function testing, patch testing, and other in-office procedures · Preparation and administration of injections · Educate patient and family regarding patient's care · Triage emergency calls · Answer phone calls and retrieve messages from patients and other medical professionals · Insurance prior authorizations for medications and procedures · Properly document data into patient's EMR and paper chart for office visits and testing · Audit daily schedule for patients seen and testing performed for accuracy · Review and follow up on patient testing · Fax, scan, and upload patient documents into Electronic Medical Records · Stock and prepare patient exam rooms · Travel between satellite offices for vacations & emergency coverage Requirements Skills Oral Communication · Written Communication · Multitasking · Telephone Etiquette · Attention to Detail · Professionalism · Organization · Time Management · Computer Literacy 1 Year of Private Medical Practice · Immunotherapy/Immunizations · Electronic Medical Records Education: · Current New Jersey Nursing License · BLS Benefits Health, Vision and Dental benefits 401K Paid Time Off
