We are seeking a driven and experienced Drilling Crew Foreman to lead and manage underground drilling operations. This unique opportunity allows qualified candidates to operate as independent crew leaders with the ability to grow their own teams, earn compensation based on production performance, and operate with the support of a national contractor. As a Foreman, you are empowered to build and manage your crew like a business unit, taking ownership of quality, timelines, safety, and profitability. Responsibilities: Lead daily operations of in-house UG drilling crews; Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and client specifications; Manage jobsite documentation, restoration, and bore logs; Coordinate with regional managers and coordinators to meet project goals; Read and interpret job prints, locate utilities, and ensure proper bore paths; Train and mentor crew members for growth and consistency; Drive production results while maintaining quality and compliance; Oversee equipment use and maintenance, ensuring readiness for each project; Grow crew capacity over time to take on more work and increase earning potential. Requirements 2+ years of experience in underground drilling operations (HDD); Prior experience leading field crews strongly preferred; Strong knowledge of HDD equipment, safety practices, and restoration work; Ability to read and interpret job prints and bore profiles; Clear communication and leadership skills; Valid driver’s license (CDL); Business-minded with an interest in growing teams and earning from performance; Willingness to travel as needed within the assigned region. What You'll Need: • Must be at least 18 years of age. • 6 months+ of work experience in a customer service/or sales experience in a retail environment. • Basic knowledge or experience using computers and mobile phones. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. • Legally authorized to work in the United States. • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred in some areas. • High school diploma/GED. • Physical Demands: Must be able to stand for long periods of time on the sales floor. Must be able to move and/or lift up to 15 pounds. Retail employees are regularly required to talk and hear; frequently required to stand, walk, and use their hands and fingers to handle objects, feel, and operate a computer. They are occasionally required to reach with their hands and arms, climb or balance, carry, stoop, kneel, or crouch, and perform repetitive motions, including reaching overhead and typing. Compensation: $12.50 - $13.00 per hour DOE. The base pay does not factor in an aggressive commission program when goals and objectives are met. Tighten ends of anchored truss bolts Drill bolt holes into roofs at specified distances from ribs or adjacent bolts that are specified in Mine Plans Force bolts into holes, using hydraulic mechanisms of self-propelled bolting machines. Remove drill steels from chucks after drilling holes, and complete the bolting cycle which may require the use of wrench or wrenches to achieve the bolt installation Drill holes to the proper depths, properly mix resin for bolt installation and test bolts for specified tension, using torque wrenches Position safety jacks to support underground mine roofs until bolts can be installed Position bolting machines in various cuts across the section Install roof bolts on various angels in the mine roof and coal/rock ribs Maintain equipment in safe operating condition and follow Company Policies, State Law, and Federal Law while operating the roof bolter Requirements 2 + years experience as a Roof Bolter Current Underground MSHA Experienced Miner Training Benefits Compensation at an attractive hourly rate of $34.
