Utilities One is looking for a qualified Drill Locator in the North Carolina market. We are offering an opportunity to put your experience in Directional Boring and maintenance to good use, to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment, and do so for one of the fastest-growing construction companies in the U.S. Responsibilities: Perform directional drilling/boring operations, installing underground facilities, potholing, setting peds, etc.; Examine drilling sites, work cooperatively with management to develop operational plans, and ensure that drilling personnel follow safety standards; Keep heavy construction equipment and associated equipment clean and in good working order; Perform other duties as required and assigned. Requirements At least 3 years of Drilling/Boring experience; Must have Valid Class A CDL; Must have proven experience in heavy construction equipment operations with emphasis on drilling and boring machines operations; Read, understand, and interpret engineering plans and specifications; Must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and drive or ride in a vehicle for long periods of time; Work up to 5 days per week in an all-weather environment and be willing to travel as required. We are currently seeking an experienced Driller to support our environmental and geotechnical drilling programs in Ballston Spa, New York. This full-time position requires experience with soil sampling, installation of various size groundwater monitoring and recovery wells, rock coring, air & mud rotary and geotechnical drilling. Additional responsibilities include routine maintenance and minor mechanical repairs of equipment.
