Utilities One is looking for a qualified Drill Locator in the PNW market. We are offering an opportunity to put your experience in Directional Boring and maintenance to good use, to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment, and do so for one of the fastest-growing construction companies in the U.S. Responsibilities: Perform directional drilling/boring operations, installing underground facilities, potholing, setting peds, etc.; Examine drilling sites, work cooperatively with management to develop operational plans, and ensure that drilling personnel follow safety standards; Keep heavy construction equipment and associated equipment clean and in good working order; Perform other duties as required and assigned. Requirements At least 3 years of Drilling/Boring experience; Must have Valid Class A CDL; Must have proven experience in heavy construction equipment operations with emphasis on drilling and boring machines operations; Read, understand, and interpret engineering plans and specifications; Must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and drive or ride in a vehicle for long periods of time; Work up to 5 days per week in an all-weather environment and be willing to travel as required. Manage munitions response projects, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Contribute to business development efforts, including proposal preparation. Establish and maintain a strong technical reputation within the organization. Apply comprehensive project management skills, including scheduling and cost control. Ability to effectively interact with clients, regulatory agencies, field operations, technical staff, and subcontractors. Capability to develop project work plans, health and safety plans, traffic control plans, erosion control plans, etc. Willingness to travel up to 25 to 50 percent of the time to project sites, as required. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Science, Environmental Science, or related field. M.S./P.G. or other relevant professional certifications. Demonstrated experience in managing and executing environmental and remediation construction projects. Previous involvement in preparing or contributing to project proposals.
