Encapsulation Operator Our partners in the nutraceutical industry are seeking to fill multiple positions in the vitamins and supplements sector. The position involves operating machines that compress powders to produce nutritional supplement tablets, as well as machines that fill powders into gelatin or vegetarian capsules, following cGMP and SOPs. You will also be responsible for preparing tablets for packaging or bulk shipment. The operator will be accountable for the quality of the product produced. Day shift: Monday to Friday, 1st and 2nd shifts Pay: $16 to $20 per hour, depending on experience. REQUIREMENTS: Consistent and reliable attendance, with willingness to adapt to non-standard schedules when necessary. Ability to effectively manage work-related stress and maintain productive interactions in the workplace. Minimum of 2 years of equivalent experience operating machinery; prior experience in pharmaceutical/nutraceutical environments preferred. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment operation procedures. Proven experience with high-speed machinery, tablet presses, or encapsulation machines (required). Familiarity with Bosch/Syntegon3005 machines (preferred). Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout procedures and MSDS (preferred). RESPONSIBILITIES: Comply with cGMP hygiene standards before handling raw materials. Set up, operate, and monitor machinery for the production of vitamin supplement tablets. Start machines, monitor operations, conduct tests, and adjust speed and actions according to product specifications and operating procedures. Install, align, and secure punches, dies, segments, scrapers, or other accessories. Disassemble, clean, disinfect, and perform routine maintenance on machines (lubrication, calibration, adjustments, etc.). Ensure finished products meet all cGMP, FDA, DEA, and other safety and quality regulations and specifications. Measure finished tablets to verify weight compliance with specifications using scales. Clean and maintain machines, instruments, and work areas. Take samples of finished products for testing. Record operational and production information on established cGMP forms. Transport materials, supplies, and products between work areas using manual tools and mobile equipment. Monitor production and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Achieve target weights established by cGMP for each tablet batch. Perform regular machine maintenance and report any damage to the supervisor. Work in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines. Inspect machines and products to ensure proper process execution. TRAINING: Practical knowledge of workplace safety standards and regulations (preferred). Knowledge of cGMP (a plus)
