1973 Mercedes-Benz 220D | $8,000 OBO - $8,000 (san rafael)

Selling my 1973 Mercedes-Benz 220D, originally purchased in 2021 from GR Auto Gallery in Michigan for $12,900. I had big plans for a resto-mod, but I don’t have much knowledge or skill when it comes to cars, and finding reliable mechanics who still work on these vintage diesels has proven really difficult. After a series of bad experiences with shops, I’ve decided to pass the car along to someone who can give it the attention it needs. Condition: The car has been sitting for 2 years and is not currently running. From what I’ve been told, it should start again after draining the old diesel, adding fresh fuel, replacing the glow plugs, and charging the battery. That said, I recommend anyone seriously interested either inspect the car themselves or have a pre-purchase inspection done. If you decide to buy it, I’m happy to subtract the cost of that inspection from the final purchase price.
