We are working with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to address the backlog of these exams, and there are currently a considerable number of exams available in your area. These Medical Disability Exams are crucial in the VA process for determining the benefits Veterans can receive because of service-connected health issues. Here are some key highlights of this important work: · Objectivity: Focus solely on objective evaluations. PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: SUMMARY: Under limited direction of a lead/supervisor/manager, provides assembly support in building wire harness/wire harness board and or cable assemblies. • 5+ years: Wire harness assembly experience (highly preferred.) • Ability to read and follow wire harness assembly instructions. • Cuts, strips, crimps, or otherwise assembles the materials used to produce cable assemblies. Able to work with epoxies and adhesives. • Routes, wires, and assembles electronic components using wire layout boards • • Operate semi-automatic equipment such as crimp presses, wire twisters and wire strippers • Conducts functional and continuity tests of wire harnesses and cable assemblies using friendly test fixtures • Conducts functional and continuity tests of wire harnesses and cable assemblies using friendly test fixtures • Use of a solder RoHS / Non-RoHS/ Leaded and lead free solder connections. • Ability to evaluate any mechanical or material issues • Maintains a clean and safe work area • Performs other related duties and assignments as required. • All Production workers are expected to be available to work in all area of production * Ability to read and interpret drawings, and independently build wire harness assemblies accurately according to specifications. * Experience in independently preparing First Article builds and supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) projects. ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS: • 5+ years’ work experience related to soldering and crimping in the electronics industry. • Ability to communicate with manager and follow written and verbal instructions. • Ability to interpret all documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, customer supplied drawings and IPC- 620 workmanship standards. • Motivated and detail oriented • Attention to detail, excellent hand dexterity • Proficient in basic math skills • Possesses good communication skills and a great attitude • Basic computer skills (database management, word processing and spreadsheet) • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds. Primary Responsibilities: Design, prototype, and test new PCBs using ARM microcontrollers Write and test firmware for PCBs Collaborate with other developers to implement cloud networking and data analysis software Continuing engineering and technical support for existing products Qualifications: 5+ years of circuit design, PCB fabrication, and electronics troubleshooting experience 4+ years firmware experience using C, Python, and R B.S. in an engineering discipline, preferably electrical engineering Strong customer and in-house team support focus Physical Requirements and Work Environment: You must have the ability to move about the office to access files, workstations, office equipment, computers, and other productivity devices. You must also be able to remain in a stationary position roughly 50% of the time, attend meetings, and work with customers and technicians in person and via email and phone. Using a computer while sitting is common; most time will be spent in the engineering lab. The exempt, 40 hour/week position reports to the V.P. of Engineering and offers significant benefits: medical, dental and vision coverage, Simple IRA with 3% match, 9 paid holidays, and 3 weeks paid vacation. The position also offers a merit-based, annual profit-sharing bonus, and the opportunity to work alongside great people to solve important problems.
