Position: Total Joint Reconstructive Surgeon Location: Phoenix, Arizona Schedule: Monday through Friday Compensation: $350,000 to $500,000 per year plus bonus Benefits: Med/Dent/Vis, PTO/Sick, 401k W/ Contributions up to $10k, License Reimbursement & Malpractice Coverage, CME Stipend Sign On Bonus / Relocation: Eligible Call: 3 to 4 call days per month at Estrella, Del Webb, Banner Desert hospitals (depends on need/position) Job Summary: The Total Joint Reconstructive Surgeon specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and surgical reconstruction of joints, primarily focusing on the hips, knees, shoulders, and other major joints. This role involves performing surgical procedures such as joint replacements, arthroscopic repairs, and corrective surgeries to improve patient mobility, alleviate pain, and enhance quality of life. The surgeon will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including anesthesiologists, physical therapists, and nurses, to provide comprehensive care from preoperative consultation to postoperative recovery. Responsibilities: Perform thorough assessments and evaluations of patients with joint conditions, utilizing cutting-edge diagnostic tools and techniques. Execute precision-based surgical procedures, specializing in joint reconstruction surgeries such as hip and knee replacements. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and personalized patient care. Design and implement tailored treatment plans, integrating preoperative and postoperative care, rehabilitation, and patient education. Lead in orthopedic procedures, including arthroplasty, arthroscopy, and other intricate joint surgeries. Stay updated on the latest advancements in joint reconstructive surgery and contribute to the enhancement of surgical techniques. Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records, documenting patient progress, surgical outcomes, and follow-up care plans. Requirements: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery with a focus on Total Joint Reconstruction. Current and unrestricted Arizona State Medical License. Demonstrated excellence in total joint reconstructive surgery through clinical experience. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to foster patient trust and understanding. Compensation and Benefits: Competitive salary ranging from $400,000 to $470,000 per year. Eligible for Sign on Bonus Bonus structure based on performance.
