Are you a freelancer or independent consultant? We're a startup doing research on how freelancers/independent consultatns find and manage work. We're looking for: Freelancers or independent consultants in ANY field (marketing, design, development, writing, consulting, etc.) Currently actively working with clients (not just starting out) Willing to do a 30-minute video call to share your experiences and give feedback What we'll talk about: - How you currently find and manage clients - Your biggest challenges running your freelance business - Tools you use (or wish existed) for proposals, invoicing, follow-ups - Quick feedback on a product concept Compensation: $50 via Venmo/Cashapp immediately after the call When: - Flexible scheduling this week and next week - Calls done via Zoom/Google Meet Reply with: What type of freelance/consulting work you do How long you've been freelancing Roughly how many clients you work with per month Requirements: - You must be an active freelancer/consultant with real clients based in the NYC area. If we determine you are lying (which is very easy to know) we will end the session without payment.
