QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED: Strong communication and customer skills. Must be willing to work 40 hours a week. Ability to cope with change, meet deadlines and make decisions in a timely manner. Valid drivers license and clear criminal background check. Ability to work in confined spaces and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds. Basic knowledge of hand tools, including electric and battery-powered equipment. DAY to DAY RESPONSIBILITIES: Servicing Extinguishers in preparation for weekly distribution. Field work across various locations in MA. Driving Company Van to and from job sites. In-House Maintenance and Recharging Fire Extinguishers. Fire Equipment Certificate of Competency (R46 MA License-Portable Fire Extinguisher) is a plus. We are willing to train the right candidate(s) to become licensed (R46) within the allotted time frame. Maintenance Under the direction of the Property Manager, or other appropriate administrative staff, the position is responsible for the general maintenance and upkeep of buildings, grounds and equipment; including the development of a preventative maintenance plan, urgent repairs and general carpentry work.
